The Metals Environmental Risk Assessment Guidance (MERAG) was released by the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) as a result of a three-year project developed with Eurometaux and endorsed by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
The MERAG publication presents the most advanced and appropriate scientific concepts for assessing the risk posed by the presence of metals and inorganic metal compounds in the environment.
