The Minerals Council of Australia's (MCA's) events program brings the industry and its stakeholders in government, business, civil society and communities together to debate public policy and promote leading practice in order to advance the industry's competitiveness and its contribution to sustainable development and society.

AUSTRALIAN MINERALS INDUSTRY PARLIAMENTARY DINNER 2018 - DIARY UPDATE

The Australian Minerals Industry Parliamentary Dinner is a premier event on the Canberra calendar and a focal point of industry's engagement with government and the Canberra public policy community. The 2018 dinner will be held on Wednesday 12 September in the Members Dining Room, Old Parliament House.

AUSTRALIA JAPAN COAL CONFERENCE 2018

SAVE THE DATE: BIENNIAL AUSTRALIA JAPAN COAL CONFERENCE

The 2018 biennial Australia Japan Coal Conference (AJCC18) will be held on Thursday 18 October in Queensland with a welcome reception the previous evening.

This longstanding conference provides a forum for an exchange of views between Australian coal exporters and their major Japanese customers, including power utilities, steel mills and cement manufacturers.

The conference will commence with a Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening, 17 October. It will provide the perfect opportunity to network and socialise in a relaxed, informal environment.

Conference sessions will take place on 18 October. This will involve a series of keynote presentations and sessions will include: the Australian coal supply and Japanese coal demand outlook; coal minesite research and low emissions coal technology activities; and coal transport infrastructure developments.
