Minerals Week 2009 - Resilience, Recovery & Growth
Minerals Week is the major set piece program to showcase the industry’s strategic direction, achievements and initiatives and to position it effectively to influence government and opinion leaders in key policy areas affecting the industry. Since 1979, Minerals Week in its various forms has been a platform for public and political advocacy for the industry and is now regarded as one of the most important events on the industry calendar.
This year’s Minerals Week program will focus on Resilience, Recovery & Growth. With the aftershocks from the global financial crisis continuing to roll through the Australian economy in 2009, the minerals industry will be heavily focussed on the impact of Government policies on the sector and wider economy this year.
