The slogan for the 2008 Beijing torch relay is "Light the Passion. Share the Dream".
The torch is 72 cm high and weighs 980 grams. It is made of aluminium. The shape of the torch is of the paper scroll and the lucky clouds graphic is used to enhance the design.
The fuel used is propane. It is composed of carbon and hydrogen. No material, except carbon dioxide and water remain after the burning, eliminating any risk of pollution.
