The mineral kit contains twelve mineral samples and a booklet of ideas, activities and background information. The kit is designed for use by teachers of middle and upper primary level students.
The activities aim to encourage an interest and understanding in the nature of rocks and minerals by letting students become familiar with the basic characterisitcs of each sample and its main uses. It is also a great tool to introduce the work of a geologist and mineralogist to students.
