The following  ready-to-use worksheets have been designed to meet the Victorian Essential Learning  Standards (VELS) for Level 5 and 6 (Year 9 and 10) but can be adapted to suit the curriculum guidelines within your state.


The goal of Minerals Education Victoria is to assist the education community to deliver useful information about Australia's important minerals industry.

Minerals are vital to Australia's economy, provide the community with a large number of everyday items, and are relevant to many parts of the curriculum in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.
