Designed for those students who have already seen Rock into Minerals. this session takes a closer look at some very useful rocks and explores the properties and uses of the metals we obtain from them. Years 4-6. Cost: $2 per student.
Stone Sand Clay
The everyday uses of stone, sand and clay are almost endless! The properties, use, recovery and processing of these materials are the themes for this session.

Getting into Greenhouse
Students are involved in fun activities related to the greenhouse effect that are presented with stimulating challenges. A great way to start any class on its way to understanding this effect.
